I don’t how this people are still in business! Went for a hygiene that cost me 80£ and lasted 10 min! When I asked why it has not been done the full service the answer was that if I am not happy can go to a different place!

Attended for a hygenist appointment, led by Hannah Buffam! One of the best experiences i’ve had (if that is possible when tools are being poked around in your mouth) based on the excellent insight, and ideas of support. Continuously checking i was ok, and with a really ‘down to earth’ attitude. This is how it should be done! First Class Service!

Recently moved back to the area. My old dentist was great, and I wasn't keen on having to find a new one here. After two six-monthly checkups and two hygienist visits, I have nothing but compliments to give. My dentist (Meeth) and hygienist (Michaela) are both fantastic. I feel like I'm in competent, safe hands. The reception staff are lovely too.

I have been a patient here for over 15 years, and I have always been happy with the care, treatment and advice I have received - this has included two dental implants due to a fall I had. I have had several emergency treatments, and I have always been seen promptly. The dentist and hygienist I see both understand my fear of needles, and they are incredibly understanding, reassuring and patient. My six year old, and almost-two-year old twins are also registered and again, I am extremely pleased with the care and advice received. During a recent visit, the staff were extremely understanding about the challenge of taking young twins to their appointment, and they went out of their way to help me manage all three children whilst they had their check ups (this was Lauren on reception as well as my dentist - thank you to you both so much, I never have enough pairs of hands with twins! ) My 6 year old was also extremely chuffed with the Harry Potter stickers he got and the praise for brushing his teeth well! I would recommend this practice without reservation.

I am a former NHS client of this practice. My review is mainly of one dentist that I saw here that I have a poor experience with. I started using this practice in 2019 as my previous dentist left and I felt a need to move to a new practice. The dentist I was assigned was Mr Hyare. I had to have some fillings done but I was sent to Debbie the dental hygienist to have them done. Both times my back lower filling came out. Unfortunately, my health (not related to any dental work) started to decline and it was necessary for me to ask for a referral to the dental hospital in Birmingham to have the work done. Apart from now having physical disabilities I also have Asperger’s, ADHD and PTSD. I explained it would be better to have any work done in hospital (as I have done previously). First of all he tried to fob me off by sending me to a private practice in Watford (really?) to get the work done. When we found out where they were I asked to be sent to hospital to get it done and he really didn’t want to do it but eventually relented. Or so I thought. I waited 10 months to hear from the hospital but sadly nothing so I gave them a call myself. It turned out he had never even bothered sending a referral. I checked twice with the hospital and they were adamant nothing had been sent through. I went back to chat with him about this and told me they had refused me which wasn’t true (see below). I asked him to redo the referral as I had been in touch with them and they had no knowledge of a referral which he reluctantly did but he refused to give me the referral code. Eventually, after another 8 months or so waiting I was contacted by community dentists in Birmingham and made aware that I was on a list and a few months after that I was rejected because I was out of the catchment area (I’d asked to go to Birmingham). Because of my distrust of this dentist I ended up going to find another dentist (which has been extremely difficult due to there being no NHS places anywhere) locally who was very helpful, understood my condition and actually recommended that the work I needed doing was not done in the surgery and in hospital. She even gave me a URN code for the referral so I could chase it up and I was referred to Isebrook Hospital (why couldn’t he have done this?). Between trying to get my first referral and actually having the work done (September 2023) I have had to wait 3 and a half years for treatment. Sadly, things got so bad that the 3 fillings I was supposed to be having done ended up being 9 extractions. I now have to use dentures. To say that I’m livid is putting it mildly. This dentist, considering he is a NHS dentist, should have some scope of what NHS facilities are available in the area and where to send people if there is a problem. His put a pin in a map approach to referral has been detrimental to my health. I should be suing these guys for what they did to me but I just don’t have the energy anymore. I can’t recommend this dentist to anybody especially if you have a disability. They have the wrong attitude to serving disabled clients and I think he should be sent for some additional training because he lacks any kind of empathy and is an out and out liar. Thankfully I have found a practice that understands my needs now and I pray that what I went through doesn’t happen to anyone else.
