Biography

Andrew Prynne Andrew qualified from University College Hospital in 1987 having achieved the Dentsply Prize for Restorative Dentistry. He took up his first position at 740 Dental as an associate dentist and after a brief period in 1992 helping a colleague set up a practice in the Forest of Dean, Andrew returned to 740 as a partner. In 1990, Andrew became a lecturer on the local dental nurses’ course for the National Certificate and subsequently became a National Examiner on the National Examination Board for Dental Nurses. In 2004, Andrew started a three-year course in dental implantology under Prof Manuel Chanavaz of Lille University in France and has since developed a comprehensive implant service for his own patients and on referral. Andrew has a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry offering a complete smile design service including single visit porcelain restorations and facial aesthetics. Trained by Prof Bob Khanna, Andrew offers anti-wrinkle treatment with botulinum toxin, replacement of lost tissue with dermal fillers and improvement of skin quality with chemical peels. Andrew has a great life balance with a wonderful family. He married in 1993 and has three children who are each successful in their own lives as a footwear designer, a nurse and a son reading anthropolgy at the University of London. Andrew has a keen interest in motorcycling, computer technology, motor racing, cycling and has recently taken up skiing. Andrew and his son also spend many Sundays airsofting at the Ground Zero site in Somerley Park.
