Biography
Dr Chantal Burgess is a Dentist at Sunningdale Dental Practice in Ascot which is a busy mixed NHS and Private dental practice. Here she provides general, restorative and aesthetic dentistry, including Invisalign® Go. She undertakes her special interest in Oral Surgery privately at East Village Dental in Canning Town (East London) as well as Intermediate Minor Oral Surgery (IMOS) at Specialist practices in Stratford and Finchley. As well as practice, she works 2 days a week in hospital at West Middlesex Hospital providing emergency dentistry and Oral Surgery. Dr Burgess has her own dental Instagram profile, @c.b.smiles to help share her work.
Furthermore, Dr Burgess is fully and highly qualified. She graduated from The University of Birmingham in 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene and Therapy with honours. In addition, she graduated in 2016 with a postgraduate Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree with honours and became a qualified dentist. She received awards for the Highest Marks in Finals and Highest Marks in Restorative Dentistry whilst completing her education at The University of Birmingham.
She is a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons Glasgow, Scotland. She is also registered to provide Invisalign® Go invisible braces treatment, she is Intermediate Minor Oral Surgery Level 2 Accredited and is a DWES (Dentist with Enhanced Skills) in Oral Surgery. Emphasising the breadth of her experience, qualifications, and experience across the private and NHS industries.
In addition, Dr Burgess has undertaken vast training across the UK, including training in Bristol, and two senior house officer posts in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in London at Northwick Park Hospital and The Royal London Hospital. She also has experience working at highly regarded hospitals in London, Guy’s Hospital, which is part of King’s College London.
Dr Burgess is enthusiastic about dentistry, she aims to provide an open and friendly approach when treating each patient. She is extremely hard-working and driven and committed to her field of interest. Furthermore, Dr Burgess enjoys various sporting activities which include running, badminton, tennis and plays netball for Putney Netball Club. She is interested in charity activities - especially walking & running in aid of The Mouth Cancer Foundation. She also has an enthusiasm for food and exploring a range of cuisines.
