Going the process of having various fillings ( which bupa never told me I needed) city dental let's me do the fillings at my own pace as I have to budget. However my recent appointment has been cancelled & no one has contacted me to rearrange. Only 3 more fillings to go. I would not recommend bupa dental.

Just had my fixed braces removed yesterday. I am over the moon with the outcome. Sunny is a top man and his friendly, genuine service is second to none. Highly recommend City Dental for teeth straightening.

Please avoid at all costs. I got dental bonding here in 2021, and it’s just been bodge job after bodge job. The dentist finally fixed the issue in 2022, and to be fair - I was very happy with this… until it broke just a year later. I then had to pay a new dentist - due to them being sold to Rodericks - to fix the break, this wasn’t done properly and left a joining line that has stained the teeth inside the bonding. Meaning it can now not be remediated by polishing. I have now been told I have to pay £500 to have this re done - even though the tooth bonding is little under 3 years old. The receptionist said to me “well dental bonding does only last between 5 - 7 years”. Fully aware of this, when I advised it was three years old, I was told that if I eat lots of food like curries (?) then it won’t last as long. Right… I hand on heart wish I had never ever gone here for the work doing in the first place. Now I’m left £600 down, with an awful job on my teeth. Please do yourself a favour and avoid.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE DENTAL COWBOYS The treatment my wife had had should have lasted between 5-7 years, during this time: - Bonding wasn't placed under her gum properly, shading also didn't match - needing 3 attempts at trying to resolve before she complained, this was re-done in 2021. This bonding broke in 2022, and she had to pay to get it repaired (considering it should last 7 years, this isn't fair). Since the repair there is now a line where newer bonding and older bonding was joined which is constantly becoming discoloured and stained, after polishing it returns within a few months. Now the bonding is going black in the middle of her teeth only affecting her teeth with bonding and no other teeth. Yesterday she was booked in to see a dentist for a checkup where they'd look at the staining and resolve it (roughly a 3 hour round trip in travel): - Arrived, dentist she was booked into said he couldn't treat her as he doesn't do cosmetic surgery. - Told she had to pay £60 for the checkup, or £90 for the polish - this shouldn't be the case as it's resolving an ongoing issue they caused. But according to the receptionist, the dentists here are self employed and need payment, it was expected that she would pay, with no understanding that petrol & parking isn't free, or her time which she wasted due to THEIR mistake. She had to leave without either happening due to City Dental booking her in with a dentist who couldn't do either the checkup, or polishing. Nobody at here seems to take ownership, or provide resolutions but stick plasters on things and move her to another self employed dentist. Today she returned and sat down in the dentist chair for 5 minutes to be told the bonding needed replacing - this is after numerous attempts to bodge repair previous work at our own cost and at full price of around £500. She was also told, do you eat a lot of curries, because that can stain teeth... I advised her to walk out and get the work done elsewhere.

I’m a very scared patient but the wonderful, friendly staff have been so good with me and I don’t feel as scared. I have had another appointment today and am feeling much happier about going. Mr Mahmoud and the whole team are awesome. I highly recommend this dental practice. 10/10. Thank you.
