Guy is a specialist orthodontist and partner at Queensway Orthodontics. He is absolutely passionate about delivering the best possible care to all his patients and he uses his experience, our amazing team and the latest technologies to make that happen every single day. Guy initially qualified as a dentist from Newcastle University in 2000, before completing advanced training at Guy’s and Kingston Hospitals, London to become a registered specialist in orthodontics in 2007. To be honest, his experience speaks for itself – Guy is a member of the Invisalign advisory board and leads the team at Queensway Orthodontics as the leading Specialist Invisalign Provider in the North of England. He has also been a Director of the British Orthodontic Society, which a highly respected professional organisation representing orthodontics in the UK. In addition, he has a visiting specialist to the Orthodontic Department at Newcastle University, teaching and training other orthodontists and dentists by sharing his expertise with colleagues. I eventually got the ceramic braces, and I'm recording my journey here and on my blog. So far their service hasn't been great; 22/04/24: They said they would send a recommendation letter to my dentist for teeth extraction and told me to phone them if they got the letter last Tuesday. It's been almost a week but dentist haven't had gotten the letter, so I messaged Queensway if they sent a letter but they never responded. Instead, my dentist called them for confirmation then called me back for an appointment. I don't understand the system but why not send an email or phone the dentist to prevent complicating things? It's kinda ridiculous they made the patient to call the dentist first considering the price of the braces. They're just very unreliable. 15/03/24: The quality of the service greatly varies depending on who you talk to(I personally recommend Danielle. She’s kind, sharp and efficient). 16/12/23: The assistant coordinator team lead I talked to was very inefficient and unhelpful. I asked if they use surgical grade stainless steel or nickel-free metal braces/wires. My question was very clear, but the response I got within two days was "they're made of metal". It took days and a phone call to get to the point, and overall the answers I got were not detailed. I've even asked if I can just book an appointment to consult with a specialist(to not waste both of our time)at one point, but she wouldn’t let me! I was seriously considering getting braces, but the awful service for how much I was going to pay put me off.

Had my braces put on today by Julie and Emily and it was so much better than what I came in worrying about. Everything was explained clearly, how to care for my braces, changing elastics, appointment schedule etc. And they explained everything they were doing which put me at ease. Even beforehand, with the introduction, treatment plan and the videos i was sent to watch was very helpful.The orthodontic pack included with the tools to care for my braces was a very nice touch. I'm so glad I made the decision to come here, I made the right choice.

Absolutely phenomenal staff and treatment. Dr Guy Deeming and I worked together to figure out the best treatment plan for me, and I felt respected, listened to and understood at every step of the process. I’m a bit of a nervous dental patient but Guy and the team put me at ease right away. We discussed a fixed brace but decided to take a tiny bit of a leap of faith and try Invisalign. I was prepared to possibly need a fixed brace for a few weeks at the end of treatment… but after nearly two years and almost 100 aligners, I think it’s fair to say Guy and I are both delighted with the result. No veneers, no crowns, and no hint of a fixed brace. The whole process was painless (okay, occasional mild discomfort, but I’m talking a couple of hours max, only when I first changed aligners some weeks, and never once painful). Communication was fantastic. The DM app is brilliant — I could get in touch with the team any time and I always had an answer to any questions within a few hours. I won’t lie, it was pricey, but for the level of customer service and the obvious professional standards everyone at Queensway clearly prides themselves on, it was worth every penny. Not to mention the fantastic result! I’ve been recommending Queensway to anyone who’d listen. I truly didn’t believe I’d ever get my teeth fixed; I thought they were too bad to ever get a really good result. I’m so pleased I put my trust in Guy and the team, and they trusted me to be a good compliant patient. Between us we’ve done wonders for my confidence and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.
