Dr. Joana MachadoHalfway Dental Practice

Joana was born and grew up in Lisbon (Portugal), where she qualified as a general dentist in 2006. Soon after, she moved to the UK and started pursuing her career in Orthodontics. In 2011 she completed a diploma in Orthodontics in Madrid (Spain) and later a Masters in Orthodontics at Warwick University (United Kingdom). In January 2016, she started her Invisalign practitioner journey completing the European Masters of Aligners (EUMAA) in London. Joana is based in the Channel Islands, where she works both in Jersey and Guernsey. Her career is solely dedicated to Orthodontics and the Invisalign system has increasingly become a great part of her daily work.
