John’s main area of interest is dental implant treatment/cosmetic dentistry including the Invisalign system. He accepts referrals from a number of dentists in the Edinburgh and Lothians to carry out implants – from the replacement of a single tooth to a full arch of teeth. Since his membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and England, John has completed the Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, as well as the Fellowship of the Faculty of General Dental Practice. John currently delivers lectures annually on dental implant treatment options to junior dentists in the East of Scotland, at Edinburgh Dental Institute. He also organises a training course for referring dentists to teach them how to restore dental implants, as well as coordinating a local study club for other dentists.
