Dr. Jonathon BrownThe Queens Dental Practice

Jonathon graduated from the Bart’s and The Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry with honours in 2009. As an undergraduate, Jonathon won the award for Outstanding Academic Achievement and the BATLA Elective Award. He continued to win prizes during his foundation training and completed a senior house officer post in the restorative, oral medicine and oral surgery departments at Guy’s Hospital. After completing his house officer post, Jonathon was asked to stay on as an oral surgery specialty dentist at Guy’s Hospital. He has held that position until 2019. In that role, Jonathon presented an audit at the national conference for the British Association of Oral Surgeons and is a co-author of a published case report. Jonathon was awarded his Diploma of Membership to the Joint Dental Faculties at the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2011. He is also a member of the British Dental Association, The International Team for Implantology and The Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry. He has completed advance postgraduate training in dental implants and has a Diploma in Implant Dentistry at the internationally acclaimed Eastman Dental Institute. He is also a certified Invisalign Provider, with the ability to offer tooth straightening to his patients using the latest iTero digital scanning techniques. He regularly attends courses and seminars to keep abreast of the latest techniques and technology and has completed over 1,000 hours of postgraduate training and professional development. Jonathon is also an educational supervisor for newly qualified foundation dentists. In this role he supervises, supports and trains newly qualified dentists during their first year of practice to ensure they are safe and competent to work within the NHS. Jonathon places great emphasis on good gum health and home care to maintain existing dental work and prevent future problems. Jonathon uses invisalign teeth straightening to improve the smiles of his patients, helping them to feel more confident in social and professional situations. Having straight teeth also makes it easier for his patients to keep their teeth and gums clean and healthy. Jonathon is passionate about dentistry. He makes every effort to ensure his patients make informed decisions about their care. He provides dental care that is excellent value for the level of expertise and service his patients receive.
