Dr. Luisa1 MontaldoSmiles / James Hull Dental Practice

Luisa qualified as a Dentist from University of Naples, Italy, in 2006 and gained her Master Degree in Orthodontics, honors cum laude, in 2009. In 2010, she received specialist training in the field of Temporomandibular Disorders in the USA at the Orofacial Pain Center in Kentucky, as part of a shadowing program under the supervision of Dr. J. Okeson. In 2011 she moved to the UK where she works as a Specialty Dentist in Temporomandibular Disorders at Manchester University Dental Hospital and as a Specialist Orthodontist. She is registered with the General Dental Council and is on its Orthodontic Specialist list. Luisa is reviewer for several journals and has published numerous international publication. She is also the author of a chapter on “bottle feeding and dentition” in the book Dietary and nutritional aspects of bottle feeding (Wageningen Academic Publishers).
