Dr. Pilar Gesto

Dr Pilar Gesto brought extensive dental experience to the Temple Dental team having worked in Spain, Chile and Cuba, along with volunteering to assist the displaced Haitian population in the Dominican Republic. Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese, Pilar graduated from the Universidad Europea de Madrid. She holds postgraduate qualifications in Advanced Oral Surgery from Universidad de la Habana and in Implant Dentistry from the Eastman Dental Institute (UCL). She frequently attends seminars and courses to follow dental developments and master new techniques. Dr Pilar Gesto’s caring nature makes dental appointments easy and fun, even for nervous patients and children. Her approach is conservative: prevention is better than cure. If treatment is required, Pilar offers a variety of cutting-edge techniques for the best aesthetic and functional results. She always takes time to explain the different available treatments to every patient, enabling them to choose their preference from a position of knowledge and confidence. Pilar’s expertise, engaging manner and patient-centric methods have brought patients back to the dental clinic again and again. Outside dentistry, Pilar loves to travel and experience new cultures. She also enjoys countryside walks, horse riding, dancing and reading.
