Dr. Serena DerwentWill Murphy Dentistry

Serena Derwent - Specialist Orthodontist - specialising in Invisalign and aesthetic fixed appliances. Serena studied dentistry at Bristol University and graduated in 1992. She underwent specialist training in Orthodontics at the Eastman Dental Institute in London gaining a Masters of Science degree in 2000 and the Membership in Orthodontics from the Glasgow Royal College in 2001. She was awarded the prize for Clinical Excellence. from the Eastman along with regional and national prizes related to her MSc research. She then obtained her Fellowship in Orthodontics in 2003. Serena worked for four years as a Consultant Orthodontist at the Derbyshire Royal Infirmary specialising in cases requiring orthodontics in combination with surgery to the jaws, orthodontics in combination with implants and restorative treatment and also treatment of patients with clefts of the lip and palate. Away from orthodontics Serena is married with a young family and a Dalmatian all of whom keep her very busy but would love more time for cinema trips and to play tennis GDC No. 68073
