Biography

Dr Llewellyn graduated from the University of Birmingham in 1997 after winning several undergraduate prizes. He has experience working as a general practitioner and worked at Birmingham Children's hospital as part of the Maxillo-Facial team. During this time, he obtained, via examination, membership in the faculty of general dental practitioners (Royal College of Surgeons London) and a membership in the faculty of dental surgeons (Royal College of Surgeons Ireland). In 2002 Dr Llewellyn entered 3 years of full-time formal training culminating in an examination at the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh to become a specialist orthodontist. Dr Llewellyn was successful in obtaining his membership in orthodontics and was also awarded a master's degree. This provides the recognition that he has followed the highest standard of training possible in orthodontics in the UK. More recently Dr Llewellyn was awarded a Fellowship in Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. Dr Llewellyn will strive to do the best for his patients by offering both comprehensive and short-term orthodontics, he can offer both fixed and aligner options (Invisalign). Dr Llewellyn is devoted to orthodontics, spending all of his clinical time understanding orthodontic treatments and countless hours in the pursuit of new innovations and changes in the current evidence base for orthodontic treatment.
