Biography
Aarti qualified with honours in dentistry, from King’s College London in 2010. She qualified with distinction and was awarded with numerous prizes for her clinical and academic achievements.
She elected to broaden the depth of her experience and worked in several hospitals nationally in multiple dental specialities including oral and maxillofacial surgery, community, paediatric and restorative dentistry. During this time, she published scientific articles and presented her work at national and international conferences. She also completed her qualification to become a member of the faculty of dental surgeons, with the Royal College of Surgeons.
In 2018 she completed her Orthodontic training with the University of Birmingham and graduated with a Masters in Science and was awarded her membership in Orthodontics. She was also invited to speak at the British Orthodontic Conference where she won the UTG award for her scientific research. She was also subsequently awarded with the Worcestershire Orthodontic Prize from the Midland Orthodontic Society.
She is an active committee member of the British Orthodontic Society’s Orthodontic Specialist Group. She is a certified practitioner in Invisalign ‘clear’ braces, and Incognito ‘lingual’ braces.
Away from Orthodonitcs, Aarti enjoys travelling, eating out, keeping fit and her newest hobby is rock climbing. She’s interested in world religions and tries to practice yoga and meditation when she can. She is an active member of a local charity and gives her time once a week in helping the homeless.
