Dr Ahmed Riaz Din qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2011 having been awarded the Walpole Day prize in Orthodontics, Charles Greene prize in Oral Surgery along with the award in Aesthetics Special Study Module. After graduating he worked as a dental core trainee in oral and maxillofacial surgery in three units including the prestigious Royal London Hospital and Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
Ahmed has completed his consultant training in Orthodontics at The Royal London Hospital and Northwick Park Hospital. He previously completed his specialty training in Orthodontics at The Royal London Hospital and has now been awarded the Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Concurrently, Ahmed undertook a Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics at Queen Marys University.
He has published articles in peer reviewed journals and presented at international conferences, his thesis research project looking at the neurosensory changes following jaw surgery. Ahmed continues to teach post-graduates and under-graduate dental students throughout his training.
He is also registered as an Associate Fellow of Higher Education Academy after completing his Certificate in Learning and Teaching from Queen Mary University of London.
Outside of dentistry Ahmed is a keen CrossFit athlete and likes to travel the world for its cuisines.
