I have always had an interest in orthodontics, having gone through orthodontic treatment twice, I always felt that orthodontic treatment was not only about straight teeth and beautiful smiles but an ongoing relationship between the patient and the dentist before, during and after treatment. After qualifying as a dentist in Tanzania, I immediately started a fellowship in orthodontics with the Egyptian International Orthodontic Association (EIOA). Midway through my course, I moved to the UK and did my GDC registration exams. I finally could practice in the UK as a dentist. This did not extinguish my passion to provide orthodontic treatment to patients and hence I enrolled in the invisalign and 6 months smiles course. I am currently pursuing my post graduate in orthodontics with the London Dental Institute and I am hoping I can use this knowledge to enhance my skills and provide my patients with the best possible care
