Hello, I'm Dr. Anil Kumar Chand, the owner and principal dentist at Borrowash Dental Centre. With over 25 years of experience, I have dedicated my career to providing exceptional dental care to patients of all ages. I received my Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from The University of Birmingham in 1995. After qualifying, I spent time in Bia Mare, North-East Romania, where I provided voluntary dentistry to a diverse range of patients. Following this, I spent a year as a 'Senior House Officer' in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn. Before taking over as Principal Dentist at Borrowash Dental Centre in 2002, I worked as an Associate in Nottingham. Since then, I have been committed to providing the highest quality dental care to the local community and beyond. In addition to my extensive experience, I have also attained several professional qualifications. I am a Member of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons of England, as well as a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. I have also achieved an MSc in Implant Dentistry from the University of Warwick and a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Education from Sheffield Hallam University. As an Invisalign provider, I am passionate about helping patients achieve their dream smiles through this innovative and discreet orthodontic treatment. I take pride in staying up-to-date with the latest advances in dental technology and techniques, and I always strive to provide personalized care that meets the unique needs and goals of each patient. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and staying active through running and swimming.
