Dr. Calum FinchWellington Dental Practice

Calum is originally from Clevedon, Bristol. He qualified at the University of Leeds in 2015 before moving back to the South West. He now lives in Exeter. After a year working in Axminster, Calum joined Wellington Dental Practice in September 2016. Calum enjoys all areas of general dentistry but he has a particularly keen interest in aesthetic work and smile improvements. A caring and gentle manner, along with a sense of humour, ensures all patients can receive the treatment they need in a way that suits them. This is particularly evident when dealing with nervous patients. Calum has completed further training in restoration of dental implants along with the Invisalign system. He also has enhanced skills in restorative and cosmetic dentistry having recently completed all the requirements for a Level 7 Diploma with ACE (Advanced Centre of Excellence). He is due to be awarded his certificate for this in March 2025. Being able to offer tooth alignment options as a standalone treatment or as part of a greater smile improvement plan is particularly exciting. Calum also has a strong passion for minimally invasive, adhesive dentistry, always trying to conserve as much natural tooth tissue as possible. Outside of work Calum is interested in sport and fitness. He goes to the gym regularly, is a keen skier and kite surfs at Exmouth beach, weather permitting! Other interests include playing and listening to music along with socialising and meeting new people.
