Mr Colin McMurray graduated with honours from Newcastle University in 1999. He attained his MFDS qualification at the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in 2002. During his training pathway Colin has gained wide experience with positions as a Senior House Officer at Newcastle Dental Hospital, followed by a post in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Newcastle General Hospital. Colin completed his specialist orthodontic training as a Registrar at James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough, attaining his Membership of the Faculty of Orthodontists at the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in 2007. During his specialist training Colin researched a novel method to reduce the risks of demineralisation during orthodontic treatment as an MSc project, which was passed with distinction. Colin is on the Orthodontic Specialist List and is a member of the British Orthodontic Society. Colin is the main Invisalign provider with The Orthodontic Practice and Dunelm Orthodontics. He also works in partnership with some of the region's leading Restorative and Implant Specialists in treating complex multi-disciplinary cases. GDC number 76455
