Dr. Darsh Patel is a Specialist Orthodontist and owner here at Invisibrace Orthodontics in Surbiton, Surrey. He is highly regarded as one of the leading Orthodontists in the country. Darsh graduated from the Turner Dental Hospital - Manchester in 1998. His Vocational Training in London involved Maxillofacial Surgery, Paediatric Dentistry and Dental Public Health which provided fantastic grounding to eventually becoming a Specialist Orthodontist. During this time he also obtained his Membership in the Faculty of Dental Surgery from Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians, Glasgow. In 2002 he undertook his Specialist training in Orthodontics at Birmingham Dental Hospital. During his training he was awarded a Masters in Philosophy with his dissertation on "Orthognathic Surgery". In 2005 he obtained his Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons, England and awarded a prize for excellence in his clinical cases in the Royal College exam. He subsequently gained entry onto the General Dental Councils Specialist list to hold the title of "Specialist Orthodontist". Being a specialist means Darsh can focus solely on his passion for straightening teeth and creating unique, natural and beautiful smiles. He is a registered "Platinum" provider of Invisalign clear aligners in the United Kingdom. He has a particular interest in the Damon brace system and lectures extensively both locally and internationally on this topic. Darsh believes in not just straight teeth as a desirable outcome of orthodontic treatment but also the enhancement of function, oral health and facial harmony. In his spare time Darsh is a keen golfer and skier and loves spending his free time getting up to mischief with his two young boys.
