After completing her degree in Dentistry from the University of Birmingham in 2015, Dima was appointed as a hospital dentist in Manchester Dental Hospital where she gained skills across different specialties. Dima completed her Membership of Faculty of Dental Surgery exams in 2017 and then went onto work in Oral & Maxillofacial surgery in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham followed by a Paediatric & Orthodontic post in Glasgow Dental Hospital and NHS Lanarkshire. Dima then began her 3-year full-time speciality training programme working as a Speciality Registrar in Orthodontics at the Royal Liverpool Hospital and successfully completed her MOrth exams with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Dima has also undertaken a Masters in Clinical Research for which she was awarded a distinction. She has presented her research nationally and internationally and is a successful author of two books.
Dima has extensive experience with working with children with different needs and backgrounds both in hospital and in practice. She has experience with using cutting-edge technology offering services such as Invisalign for both adults and children as young as 7 years old ensuring each treatment plan is customised to suit the individual patients’ needs as one size doesn’t fit all! Dima is a Key Opinion Leader for Dental Monitoring and has trained other Orthodontists in AI and digitalising their practice.
When she’s not in the clinic, Dima enjoys going to the gym, swimming and travelling. Dima recently had braces herself and loves sharing her journey with her patients and giving them tips and advice from the other side of the chair!
