Dr. Federico ZanuttoSomerford House Dental Clinic

I was born in Italy and qualified from the University of Trieste in 2005. Previously I worked at Trieste Dental Hospital and various private practices in Italy while in 2006 I volunteered in Imperatriz, Brazil. In 2007, I took the decision to relocate to Bath, where I have settled with my family. Since then, I worked in different dental practices in Wiltshire and Somerset until I joined Frampton Dental Practice in 2020 and Somerford House Dental Clinic and Portishead Dental Clinic in 2021. I strongly believe in modern and evidence based dentistry, offering all aspects of general dentistry. Some years ago, however, I started to develop a greater interest in Endodontics (Root Canal Treatments) and for this reason, in 2016, I have started a 3 year Master degree in Clinical Endodontics at the University of South Wales which I completed in 2019 with Distinction. This reflects my wish to deliver a high standard of care to the patients, with particular focus on Endodontics, and ensure they are treated in a professional and welcoming way. I have also now the opportunity to broaden my spectrum of clinical activity in Orthodontics through the system of clear aligners Invisalign. In my spare time, I enjoy doing outdoor and cultural activities with my family, watching art films, listening to music and reading.
