Dr. Hans Antov graduated from the University of Leeds with a Masters in Dental Surgery. During his training he was awarded two medals, one of which was for ‘best clinical performance’. Following graduation, Hans completed foundation training in Yorkshire, obtaining the prize for Best Restorative Case. He developed a passion for advanced dentistry, and as such decided to pursue a specialist training pathway. He then went on to several hospital posts covering Restorative dentistry, Paediatric dentistry and Oral surgery. He spent a year working in Oral & Maxillofacial surgery, covering the on-call rota and managing patients with facial trauma and severe infections. During this time he completed the Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons exam (MFDS RCSG), and was awarded a medal for the highest national score (TC White Medal). Hans then went on to complete a specialist training programme in Orthodontics through a competitive national recruitment process. The program consisted of a combination of Hospital NHS training, alongside completing a Doctorate research degree in Orthodontics from the University of Liverpool. As a Specialist in Orthodontics Hans possesses comprehensive expertise in not only aligning teeth, but also optimising their placement within the face. This ensures the patient achieves a stunning smile, a harmonious facial appearance, and a healthy bite.
