Dr. James StubbsWeybridge Orthodontics

James studied dentistry in South Africa where he completed the five and half year course and qualified as a dental surgeon in 1986. He relocated to the United Kingdom in 1989 and worked in a large general dental practice in Hampshire prior to becoming owner, vocational trainer and Principal Dentist in two highly successful general dental practices in Surrey. He spent two years on the extended orthodontic training programme at the Mayday Hospital in Croydon and during 1997 started his three year postgraduate orthodontic training course at Guy’s Hospital. He was awarded a Master of Science degree from the University of London and Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in September 2000 allowing him to be registered as a specialist orthodontist with the General Dental Council. He is owner and Principal Orthodontist at Weybridge Orthodontics and a member of the British Dental Association, the British Orthodontic Society, American Association of Orthodontist, the World Federation of Orthodontists, active member of the Croydon Orthodontic Study Group and founder member and director of the OrthoProgress group. James provides treatment for all age groups using both fixed and removable appliances and has a particular interest in the combined restorative and orthodontic treatment interface. James is a certified Invisalign PLATINUM practitioner since 2000.
