I am an Orthodontist based in Yorkshire and Bassetlaw, I provide treatment at: Love Your Smile Hunslet, Bawtry Dental Practice, MSH Normanton and One Smile Pontefract About me Joanne undertook three years of specialist training whilst undertaking a Masters in Orthodontics at UCL. She qualified as a specialist orthodontist in 2010 with J K Williams gold medal for the top marks in the country. She went on to undertake 2 more years of training to become a hospital consultant specialising in management of complex orthodontic problems including jaw surgery, management of multiple missing teeth and complex medical needs. Joanne worked at Sheffield Dental Hospital and Rotherham Hospital treating complex cases and teaching students and dentists training to become orthodontists. She had enjoyed leadership roles at Royal College of Surgeons and within the NHS and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. Joanne works in Yorkshire and Bassetlaw offering teeth straightening treatments to children and adults, including Invisalign, ceramic and lingual/ invisible braces and can offer the most appropriate treatment for your problem, lifestyle, and income. Joanne strives for excellence and aims to provide patients with the best that can be achieved. Joanne enjoys cycling and running and can often be seen cycling with her two young daughters in a bike trailer. . I am dedicated to creating confident smiles for patients of all ages. My aim is to provide high quality orthodontic treatment using a variety of evidence based contemporary techniques and to tailor our treatment to suit each patient's needs. I gained my dental degree from Leeds University on 2003 and then went on to undertake hospital posts in orthodontics, oral surgery restorative and paediatric dentistry before undertaking specialist training in Orthodontics at The Eastman Dental Institute and Watford General Hospital where I was awarded the John K Williams Gold Medal by the Royal College of Surgeons for the highest mark in the examination.
