Dentistry has been a lifelong passion for Joel Soares. After qualification back in 2005 he started off in Private practice, having run his own Private Practices in Portugal before moving to England and joining Collosseum Dental Group. Having a passion for helping people, he combines his surgical, artistic and dental skills to improve the quality of his patient’s lives. Orthodontics ( Fixed or Invisalign) are his prime interest having started working in the field since 2007 with hundreds of cases to date. He can also complement his treatments with Surgery and Implants, Facial Aesthetics and cosmetic rehabilitation being able to provide a wide range of options and integrate them to provide the best possible outcome to match his patient’s needs and expectations. His intention is to try to make his work blend naturally into the patient’s mouth as if it was always there. He is an experienced dentist who prides himself on his easy going, approachable manner to help patients feel as comfortable as possible. He has undertaken extensive postgraduate education over the years and in order to work to the standards that he would want his own treatment provided to, Joel is committed to ongoing education to keep abreast of the latest treatments and materials. To this end, he is continuously having postgraduate education encompassing most aspects of Dentistry. When Joel is not at work, or on an educational course somewhere in the world, he is kept more than occupied by his young family. Joel is also eclectic in his personal life loving his travels experiencing other cultures, being a keen petrolhead, regularly collaborating with charities, doing cycling, riding, and skiing as well as quieter pursuits such attending concerts and Operas as well as visiting theatres, galleries, museums and a good solid read whenever the opportunity arises.
