I qualified in 2010 from Oporto University in Portugal. I have worked in the UK since 2010, of which the last 14 years I have been in York. I am the Principal Dentist at The York Dental Suite, a practice located in the heart of York at the iconic Terry's site. We are committed to delivering dentistry of the highest quality and I am proud to practice a patient-centered approach. Through this commitment I have attended numerous courses over Europe including advanced biomechanic courses in aligner treatment. I have completed an advanced postgraduate qualification in Orthodontics at Warwick University as well as Master Damon Course and Master Aligner Course. My focus continues to be caring for all my patients and delivering excellent dental care. Orthodontic treatment is most often used to improve the appearance and alignment of crooked, protruding or crowded teeth, and to correct problems with the bite of the teeth. Over the last few years I have gained special interest in children orthodontics spending time to focus on helping children live a better and healthier life through the correction of their malocclusions, helping to improve their breathing and even posture. I am proud to say we are the only dental practice in York with an Invisalign Zone, offering the patients to discover what their smiles could look like in less than 60 seconds.
