Dr. Maria Mak Dental Surgeon (GDC Reg No: 65985) BDS, MSc (Restorative Dentistry), PGcert. (Dental Implantology), PGcert. Higher Education Dr. Maria Mak qualified in dentistry from the University of Manchester in 1990. She went on to achieve her Master of Science degree in Advanced Restorative Dentistry also from the University of Manchester in 1996. Dr. Mak has a wealth of experience in providing Advanced Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry. Her particular interest is in modern crown and bridge designs, especially in relation to the new generation of aesthetic, natural-looking, all-porcelain restorative systems. She also has Dental Implant expertise, having completed her Foundation in Implant Dentistry course with the ITI Institute in 2010, and is an experienced Invisalign Doctor. Her refined clinical skills, combined with a gentle, holistic approach, ensures that our patients enjoy consistently high standards of cosmetic restorative treatment and pain-free dental care. As well as being a General Dental Practitioner, Dr. Mak holds a part-time clinical teaching post at King’s College London, Faculty of Dentistry, Oral & Craniofacial Sciences. She is also fluent in Chinese (Cantonese). Outside of dentistry, Dr. Mak enjoys conducting breeding and wetland bird surveys, and is a licensed bird ringer with the British Trust for Ornithology.
