Dr Rachel Derby BDS, MSc Endo, PG Cert Ortho Principal Dentist/GDC 193038 Dr Derby is a multi award-winning dentist with an interest in Cosmetic/Restorative Dentistry. She graduated in 2010 from the University of Manchester where she was awarded the Undergraduate Student of the Year. In 2020 she passed her MSc in Endodontics (root canal treatment) with distinction and in 2022 she completed her postgraduate certificate in Orthodontics. Dr Derby was recently awarded the prestigious and highly coveted Young Dentist of the Year in 2021 and again in 2022. She was also a finalist in the Dentist of the Year at the Dental Awards 2022. Dr Derby’s passion lies in cosmetic/restorative dentistry. She has undertaken numerous courses in the UK, Europe and America to hone and perfect her skills. She believes in a comprehensive and holistic approach to her dental treatment and often utilises orthodontics (teeth straightening) combined with either composite (white filling material) or porcelain to help her achieve the results. Dr Derby’s has been published in various dental magazines and she has been invited to lecture at dental conferences in the UK and Ireland. It is not just her patients that Dr Derby cares about, but also the profession. Dr Derby is a Director of the British Association of Private Dentistry and currently serves on Board and Executive Committee and is the Chair of Education.
