Dr. Rana HameedPurley Dental Care

Dr. Rana Hameed is a friendly, welcoming dentist who particularly enjoys treating patients who want to improve their smile. She qualified from the University of Otago in New Zealand in 1999 and recently completed an MSc. in Aesthetic Dentistry from the University of Kings College, London. This additional three year course of study has enabled Rana to reach a level in dentistry where she is able to provide advice and treatment to patients ranging from the simple cosmetic improvements to those of the highest complexity. She has an extensive skill base to improve your smile, whether it's whitening, placing and restoring implants, straightening teeth orthodontically using the Invisalign system or improving an unsightly crown or filling. Dr. Hameed had this to say about helping her patients get the best from her treatment, "I particularly enjoy the team approach we adopt at Dorking Dental Centre. It allows both Christian and me to play to our strengths, offering the very best solutions to our patients. For example, I may carry out orthodontic work and whitening, providing the very best site for Christian to place an implant." Since moving to the UK from New Zealand in 2000 she and her family have always lived, schooled and worked in close proximity to Dorking and she knows and loves the area well. When she is not busy improving the smiles of Dorking, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to the cinema and theatre and walking in the beautiful Surrey countryside.
