Richard qualified in 2002 from Guys hospital in London and later gained membership to the Royal College of surgeon in 2004. He moved to Plymouth in 2007 to be nearer the sea. The plan was to indulge his passion for scuba diving although 2 energetic dogs have somewhat got in the way of this for the time being. In 2007 he embarked on a number of courses aimed at improving his interest in cosmetic dentistry and facial cosmetics. These included courses in wrinkle relaxing injections, facial fillers and chemical peels and Invisalign braces. Most recently he completed a course at the Eastman hospital in dental implants. Richard has been a regular in the Herald featuring in both the ‘Ask The Expert’ section and heading the ‘Drop A Decade’ makeover team.
