Biography
I am a Diamond Invisalign Practitioner, having worked in orthodontics and the Invisalign system for 20 years. I am also a General Dentist and a Principal Partner at Inglewood House Dental Practice.
I graduated from Liverpool University Dental Hospital in 1997 and spent eight years working in Blackburn as an Associate and at Blackburn Royal Infirmary as a part-time Clinical Assistant in orthodontic and restorative dentistry.
My passion for teeth straightening continued to drive my career and in 2005 I purchased Inglewood House Dental Practice with my wife and brother who are also Dentists. Soon Inglewood House became a leading provider of the Invisalign system within Greater Manchester.
Transforming smiles is a very fulfilling part of dentistry, so in addition to my orthodontic training, in 2007 I completed a year-long Multi-System Dental Implantology Certificate Course at Trafford General Hospital. My appetite for clinical excellence led me to embark on a Diploma in Implant Dentistry at Salford University, followed by the NJDF at the Royal College of Surgeons in 2010.
I am also a member of the ITI and ADI and since completing his diploma has lectured and mentored post graduates for Straumann on a regular basis and I have presented at the ADI National Forum.
I am also a member of The British Orthodontic Society. Teeth straightening remains at the heart of the practice to this day, and I see new orthodontic patients daily. My patients travel from New York and London to remain under my care for their orthodontic treatment, which is some distance!
I am no stranger to straightening celebrity smiles, from actors and actresses, to Premiership footballers to Team GB hockey players. However, discretion is one of the key advantages of the Invisalign system, so I won't be dropping any names here, sorry!
As well as creating Hollywood smiles for celebrities, I am committed to helping those less-fortunate through Operation Smile. Inglewood House is a founding member of the MiSmile Network of highly experienced Invisalign system providers. One of the many benefits of being part of a huge national network of Invisalign treatment providers, is the support we have collectively been able to give to Operation Smile. We donate each and every time we create a new perfect smile using the Invisalign system.
Operation Smile travels across the globe providing free reconstructive surgeries to children and young adults born with facial deformities; particularly cleft lip and cleft palate. I was very honoured to be invited to a Mission in Ghana, as a guest of Operation Smile in 2017. I witnessed first-hand the huge life-changing impact this charity has on the lives of so many.
Being a Dad of two, seeing the young children with such deformities and the incredible results that can be achieved through surgery was an experience I will never forget. Since returning from this experience, I have given presentations to rally further support for this charity.
