Dr. Gutierrez qualified as a dentist in 2002 from The National Autonomous University of Nicaragua. In 2006 he earned his first Masters in Orthodontics in 2006 from the Centre for Latin American Studies in Orthodontics in Mexico City. Relocating to the U.K. in 2009, he gained extensive experience in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery working in the NHS hospital. In 2013, he received the License in Dental Surgery (LDS) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and membership of the faculty of dental surgery (MFDS) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He perused a three-year postgraduate training in Orthodontics at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, King’s College London and Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead. In 2017 he earned his second Masters in Orthodontics from King’s College London and the Membership in Orthodontics (MOrth.) from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh leading to the registration as Specialist Orthodontist with the General Dental Council. Dr. Gutierrez is recognized as an Invisalign expert provider.
