Dr Rory joined the team at Clifton in 2018, he is committed to clinical excellence in all aspects of care for those looking to improve their smiles. He loves working with children and particularly enjoys helping adults who are nervous to overcome their fears about coming to the dentist. Dr Rory trained in Cardiff where he graduated with honours and was a recipient of the Jane Hodge Foundation Prize.
He has worked in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery team in Swansea where he was responsible for the care of patients undergoing a wide range of therapies for oncological, physical trauma, as well as surgical and developmental anomalies, such as Cleft Lip and Palate repair. He also brings experience from busy multi unit mixed practice in Manchester and most recently is returning to Clifton from Australia, having spent four years working as the principal dentist of a fully private practice in coastal New South Wales.
Earlier in 2018 Dr Rory attained fellowship with the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons. He is registered with both the GDC and AHPRA. Dr Rory is committed to further professional development and invests in his skills and knowledge, by consistently engaging in over double the amount of training hours expected by the GDC every year. He is also a published author in the British Dental Journal.
