Dr. Saritha Vasireddyyork dental practice

I graduated from the SDM College of Dental Sciences Dharwad, India in 2003. I moved to the United Kingdom in the same year. After 3 years of training in Maxillofacial Surgery / Orthodontics at Dumfries, Galloway Royal Infirmary in Scotland and the James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough, I completed the ORE exams in 2010 followed by vocational training in Driffield, East Yorkshire. Since 2011 I have been working in a mixed dental practice in York. It was here I was able to commit to delivering the highest quality of dentistry to all my patients. Following this commitment, I have attended numerous courses which have expanded my knowledge and skills. In my previous job, alongside working as an Associate Dentist, I was fortunate to be honoured with the role of Clinical Support Manager. Through this role, I was responsible for coaching the dentists and the support staff in the region. I also provided support to the practice team in implementing and maintaining excellent customer service, quality, cost, UDA and private performance in accordance with company strategy, goals and values. I pride myself that I was able to encourage development and team working (in conjunction with operational management) as well as ensuring dentists are compliant with GDC, NHS and legislative requirements, particularly in relation to the NHS dental contract. A course I was proud to complete was a yearlong course in Restorative Dentistry at the prestigious Paul Tipton Academy in Manchester which gives me the confidence in offering patients cosmetic treatments to a high standard. I also have a special interest in Orthodontics and because of this, I have been offering Invisalign treatment since 2012. I completed training in the Alumier MD Aesthetic training programme in May 2021 and am excited to show off my skills. Currently, I am undertaking a course Diploma in Law and Ethics course at Bedford University. Apart from Dentistry, I love travelling and walking my 3-year-old Shih Tzu.
