Dr Orton-Gibbs qualified as a general dentist in 1983 and as an orthodontist in 1988, being recognised as a specialists orthodontist in 1998. She spent 12 years as an NHS consultant at St Helier University Hospital in Surrey, joining Walpole in 1987 and in 1995 she became practice principal and owner. She is a member of the British, American, European and World Orthodontic Societies and has been published in many journals. She also lectures internationally, is an advisor for AcceleDent and a known leader for innovative technology. Walpole Specialists was the first independent orthodontist to offer Invisalign treatment in the UK in 1992 and continues to provide patients with outstanding orthodontic treatment. Walpole specialises in personally tailored treatment plans, we don't do one-size-fits-all orthodontics. Dr Orton-Gibbs' dedication to getting the best result and keen eye for detail means our patients truly do get smiles to last a lifetime. Treatments are carried out in beautiful, professional yet relaxing surroundings where patients aren't made to feel like patients.
