BDS(Hons), MPharm Diploma in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry PGCert Endodontics Advanced training in Facial Aesthetic Treatments Clinical Advisor with an interest in clinical teaching and mentoring GDC: 251436 Shireen is dual qualified as a pharmacist and dentist, with over 25 years of experience working in the NHS and Private Health Sectors, with a particular interest in general private dentistry. Through undertaking many advanced courses, she has a varied skillset with a special interest in smile makeovers, restorative cosmetic dentistry, root canal treatment and facial aesthetics. Shireen also has a calming approach with her patients, allowing them to feel at ease even during complex treatments. She qualified with a BDS(Hons) at the University of Central Lancashire in 2014. During her career as a dentist, she worked for several years providing NHS dental care in general practice and in the urgent care service. She enjoys supporting and coaching other dental professionals and has worked for NHS England, and other dental organisations as a Clinical Advisor. She ensures compliance with the GDC Code of Ethics and Professional Standards in the practise of Dentistry. Shireen is enthusiastic and always perseveres to achieve excellence in standards of performance, undertaking many advanced training courses to improve her personal skills portfolio. Outside of work, Shireen is a fun-loving mum of twin boys and enjoys travelling with her family. She is passionate about keeping fit and enjoys wildlife and photography!
