I’m Dr Suki Shakthi, Principal Dental Director at Bluebell Dentistry & Aesthetics where I have been treating Invisalign patients for more than 20 years.I qualified at The University of Edinburgh over 30 years ago and have a passion and belief in the Invisalign system, coupled with the experience and knowledge I’ve gained from treating many different orthodontic problems. I have now completed nearly 2,500 cases and I am proud to be a Diamond Invisalign provider reaching APEX top status. During the 2022 Invisalign annual conference in Croatia, I was honoured to be recognised for being one of the top 12 providers with the long-term partnership with Align Technology in Europe. We were recently honoured to be awarded the Winner of 2023 UKI Align Invisalign Forum award for “Most Transformed Practice 2023” After 20 years occupancy, we rebuilt our practice to meet close to carbon zero (EPC-A rated) and transitioned to a digital frontier with iTero 5D Intraoral scanners and virtual care. Patient communication has been reinforced through digital mediums including online booking, live chat, our Bluebell app, website, and social media. At Bluebell, we prioritise sustainability, incorporating various eco-friendly methods. We harness renewable energy from solar panels, eliminating the need for a traditional hot water system and completely avoiding the use of gas. Our water heating system only operates when necessary, conserving energy and resources. We ensure that fresh air circulates throughout our practice every 8 minutes, adhering to hospital standards of air quality. Additionally, we employ automated sensors to efficiently manage our lighting system, reducing unnecessary energy consumption. I really enjoy working directly with my patients, listening carefully to their expectations in order to create their perfect smile – resulting in over 300 happy patients every year.
