Sunita Kapali Desilva qualified from The University of Adelaide (Australia) in 1996. Since graduation, she has worked in Nepal and Singapore before coming to the UK in 1998. She has since worked as a general practitioner in NHS practice as well as in Access Centre and Community Dental Services. She believes that dentistry should be accessible, affordable and holistic. Finding dental anxiety to be the major barrier in seeking dental care she completed an MSc in 'Control of Pain and Anxiety' from the University of Manchester. She now manages a phobia clinic in Hanley Health Centre one day a week providing dental treatment for anxious patients under sedation and works 2 days a week as a general dentist at The Dental Centre providing a wide range of dental treatments. She understands having a beautiful smile is as important as healthy teeth. She is now providing Invisalign clear aligners to give you further options to achieve that beautiful healthy smile you deserve.
