Biography
Tom grew up in Queensbury, West Yorkshire. He qualified as a dentist in 2008 from Manchester with Honours. After spending his vocational training year in Bradford, he spent 4 years working in Colne, East Lancashire. During this time, he completed the prestigious MJDF and also a postgraduate certificate in clinical education at the University of Central Lancashire. He has also completed other postgraduate courses including tooth whitening and white fillings. Tom is committed to postgraduate training and believes very strongly in continuing education.
He joined Rayner Dental practice in 2013. For the past 5 years, Tom has been a trainer and mentor for newly qualified dentists on behalf of the Yorkshire and Humber Postgraduate deanery. In 2018, Tom became a provider of the Invisalign system and enjoys carrying out Invisalign and composite bonding for his patients.
Outside of dentistry, Tom spends much of his time with his young family and riding his bike. He can be regularly seen riding to work or over the Yorkshire hills! He is also an avid football fan.
