An experienced orthodontist interested in three-dimensional facial growth, adult orthodontics and interdisciplinary orthodontic management. Dr Mark Vaughan completed FDS RCS and was awarded Membership in Orthodontics at The Royal College of Surgeons of England, and a master’s degree with distinction at The Royal London Hospital. He has vast experience treating nervous patients. Mark held the positions of senior house officer and registrar in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Oldchurch Hospital, The Royal London Hospital, University College Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital. In these positions, he performed a range of treatments such as extracting difficult teeth, dentoalveolar surgery, hard and soft tissue facial reconstruction after trauma and head and neck cancer and orthognathic surgery. Dr Vaughan’s clinical areas of interest include three-dimensional facial growth, adult orthodontics – with a particular passion for lingual orthodontics – and interdisciplinary orthodontic management, especially aesthetic treatment. He has significant experience the use of Invisalign clear aligner and other Braces systems.
