Qualified in Portugal in 2007 and shortly afterwards moved to Nottingham, where she lives with her partner, her two children and their cat Luigi. Before working at Chilwell Dental Practice she worked in the Restorative Department at Queens Medical Centre providing care to patients diagnosed with Head or Neck cancer, patients with cleft palate, rehabilitation of patients with fixed and removable prosthesis over implants, rehabilitation of patients with severe tooth wear amongst other treatments. At the same time, she was providing primary care at a Practice in Bolsover. After her son was born, she joined this lovely practice. Her most recent courses include a two years Orthodontic course with the renowned Jonathan Sandler - Consultant Orthodontist at Chesterfield Royal Hospital and a Comprehensive Invisalign Certification. She has also completed a certificate in Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry from the University of Warwick and a Practical Restorative course in Manchester with Professor Paul Tipton. Vanessa has also recently completed a Botox and Filler Foundation Training Course and she is now offering this service in our practice. On her free time she enjoys going on walks with her family and travel. She also enjoys doing yoga, meditation and boxing.
