Dr Viswanthan Pather Dentist with special interest in Orthodontics Vis qualified as a dentist from the university of Western cape in 1997. In 2007, after 2 years, he gained a certificate in fixed wire Orthodontics. This was the Straight forward Straight wire course run by Jonathan Sandler and Alison Murray, two of the most respected Orthodontists in the country. Moving on he completed a Level 2 certificate in Advanced Restorative and aesthetic Dentistry in September 2015. This course was run by Dominic Hassall, also one of the most respected restorative dentists in the country. This combined with orthodontics gave far more tools to provide the beautiful smiles that enriches people’s lives. Vis then completed a certificate in Invisalign clear aligners. This along with Clear Bracket braces can give his patients more options to straighten teeth, without having a metallic smile during treatment. He will continue learn more and improve what he can do and to give his patients more variety as far as options are concerned, Dentistry especially smile design continues to be his pride and passion
