Joanne Thomas grew up in Sheffield before completing her dentistry qualification at the University of Bristol in 2002. Having travelled the globe during 2007 and 2008, she moved back to Sheffield where she has lived ever since. Having previously worked at Bupa Dental Care Bolsover, Joanne joined us in September 2022. Since joining, Joanne has quickly gained a glowing reputation because of her friendly, relaxed, and reassuring manner with patients. Alongside general dentistry, Joanne also completed a one-year restorative dentistry course with the North of England Dental Academy, allowing her to offer a variety of cosmetic treatments within practice. Joanne can also offer cosmetic orthodontic procedures including Invisalign Go clear aligners, having completed the necessary training in 2019. Our treatment co-ordinator Paula Tideswell works with Joanne to provide a seamless patient journey. The reception team will book a free chat with Paula to provide the patient with an overview of their prospective treatment and take them through their potential journey. Paula will then book a full case assessment with Joanne, to form their clinical treatment plan.
