After qualifying from Manchester University in 2006, Nuha undertook further training in hospitals as a Specialty Dentist to gain experience in Oral Surgery and intravenous sedation. She has been providing general dentistry and oral surgery treatment under intravenous sedation to patients for the past 17 years in multiple dental practices. She is also an accredited supervisor and regularly mentors other dentists and dental nurses in IV sedation. As an oral surgeon Nuha provides a number of treatments including removal of wisdom teeth, removal and exposure of impacted teeth, apicectomy (removal of infection tooth root tip) and complex tooth extractions. Sedation is used when treating nervous patients, patients with a dental phobia and also helps patients with a pronounced gag reflex. "In practice I believe in tailoring dental care to the individual.
