Oliver BowyerShrewsbury Orthodontic Centre

Mr Bowyer is a Consultant Orthodontist with over 10 years experience in both Private and NHS practice. He has a wealth of experience in both fixed and removable orthodontic appliances including Invisalign orthodontic aligners. He works closely with many local dentists to provide an exceptional level of multi-disciplinary care for all aspects of tooth alignment and smile design. Oliver started his specialist training in orthodontics in 2006 at Guy’s Hospital London and in 2009 was fortunate enough to be awarded the prestigious Phillip Walther prize in Orthodontics for the best performance in the Master of Science examination at Kings College London. Following on from this success he was awarded the membership in orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and was entered on to the General Dental Council’s list of registered specialists in Orthodontics. Oliver then spent two and a half years in higher specialist training at the world renowned Eastman Dental Institute in London. In 2011 he was awarded his fellowship in Dental surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. In 2012 he was appointed as Consultant in orthodontics at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital where he is involved with multidisciplinary patient care. Amongst his interests are treatment of craniofacial deformities and the management of patients with special needs.
