Rachel has spent the last 15 years studying the combination of academia, science and art behind creating a beautiful smile!
She has experienced the work and intricacies it takes through years of interesting and challenging dental cases, in a variety of settings from treating children in the maxillofacial surgery department at Great Ormand Street hospital, to working with the Rotary Club charity and British Cleft surgeons operating on cleft patients in India, to high end private care on Harley street.
She studied for 5 years to gain her Dental Degree BDS, at The University of Bristol in 2007. She then gained her membership to the Royal College of Surgeons with the MFDS surgical diploma in 2008, and then spent a couple of years working in various central London Hospitals gaining experience in complex multidisciplinary maxillofacial surgery cases, working together in teams of incredibly inspiring surgeons and specialist dentists. She then went on to complete a further 5 years of specialist orthodontic training. She completed a Masters MsC at the University of London (Royal London Hospital)) and then entry to the Specialist list at the GDC and invited to join the Royal College of Surgeons England with an MOrth in 2012 and is a GDC registered specialist.
She has contributed to published surgical and orthodontic research papers in international medical journals and also presented research at national and international orthodontic conferences. She won the Hawley Russel Research Prize at The British Orthodontic Society. Rachel is a member of The British Orthodontic Society and Royal College of Surgeons England.
She loves the combination of art and science that the Invisalign treatment which allows her to give patients their best smile in the most subtle, modern and aesthetic way possible!
Outside of work Rachel loves to ski, travel, and spend time with her two young kids.
