Being a graduate from Manchester University in 2013, I naturally started my dental career in a busy practice a few minutes away and continued to enjoy city life. In 2014 I was then lucky enough to be offered a job in a practice on the road where I grew up, in my home town of Llanelli in South Wales.
The ability to speak Welsh, my mother-tongue, to over 50% of people who walk through our doors is real virtue to both myself and the practice.
I offer a variety of restorative treatments underpinned by my continuing professional development. I have a keen interest in cosmetic orthodontics and minimally invasive aesthetic treatments. I also feel very strongly about prevention in the world of Dentistry. I prioritise the prevention of pain and disease over trying to resolve issues when it may be too late.
I believe in being a lifelong student and endeavour to continually advance my dental knowledge and expertise. Dentistry is a continually developing field and I feel it is important that dentists are proactive in developing their skills.
I am a certified practitioner of Invisalign treatment and am currently studying for a diploma in Orthodontics.
Outside of the dental environment my husband and I are passionate co-owners of Crossfit Llanelli, a thriving local affiliate that is much more than just a gym. Here, we train to become better versions of ourselves as well as compete against each other and members from other affiliates. We are proud to say that we empower our members to do the same and achieve their own fitness goals, whatever they may be.
