Richard has been a Specialist Orthodontist since 1999 and has successfully treated many thousands of patients in Sussex during this time. . He has extensive experience in aligner therapy, gained over 10 years and sat on the European Advisory Board for Invisalign for a number of years. In addition he has expertise in various fixed and lingual appliance systems and is thus able to provide patients with the best solution for their problem. He became a partner for the Total Orthodontics group in 2002 and subsequently a Director and Chairman of the group for a number of years. Richard has held a number of committee and advisory roles and is currently Chair of the Specialists Group for the British Orthodontic Society. Richard currently also sits on the BUPA Dental Care Dental Advisory Board. He has previously been a Trustee and Director of Professional Development for the British Orthodontic Society as well as Chair of the British Orthodontic Conference from 2015 to 2018 and Director for Clinical Practice from 2006 to 2013. He has a particular interest in the treatment of patients who would benefit from combined orthodontic and restorative solutions and has lectured widely at home and abroad on clinical and business topics for many years.
