Tom qualified as a dentist from Guy’s Hospital in 1999 with an additional honours degree in psychology. He then worked in general dental practice for four years, becoming experienced in all branches of dentistry. In 2003 he took up posts within the oral/maxillofacial surgery and orthodontic departments at Brighton and Eastbourne hospitals. During his time there he passed his MFDS exams and was awarded membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Tom then decided to pursue his love of orthodontics and returned to Guy’s Hospital in 2005 to specialise in this area. Through his academic, research and clinical activities he gained an MSc with merit and was awarded Membership in Orthodontics of the Royal College of Surgeons of England to become a fully registered specialist orthodontist with the General Dental Council. Tom enjoys treating both adults and children and uses conventional braces as well as lingual braces and aligners. Tom has used the Invisalign system for more than a decade and is well experienced in the technique both for adults and children.
Tom has presented research at international conferences and his work has also been published in several journals.
