Vanessa qualified in Portugal in 2007. Shortly after her qualification she moved to England and is currently living in Nottingham where she enjoys living with her partner, 3 years old son and two cats. Before joining her current practice Vanessa has worked in the Restorative Department at the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham where her main functions included providing care to patients diagnosed with Head or Neck cancer, patients with cleft palate, rehabilitation of patients with fixed and removable prosthesis over implants, rehabilitation of patients with severe tooth wear amongst other treatments. At the same time she had been working in primary care in a practice in Bolsover. Vanessa is known for her commitment to her patients dental health and for her loving manner. She likes to build a good rapport and get to know people so she can provide personalised care. Vanessa has a certificate in Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry from the University of Warwick being very keen to improve her patients smile on a minimally invasive way. Vanessa spends a lot of time on courses in order to update her skills and knowledge. Her most recent courses include a two years Orthodontic course a Practical Restorative course in Manchester with Professor Paul Tipton. Passionate about delivering the best experience to her patients she has completed an Invisalign Comprehensive Certification in June 2020. She loves spending time with her family and friends and she loves being outdoors, meditation and yoga. She recently has taken on Boxing classes.
